Get ready for the sauciest and juiciest battle at La Tomatina Festival in Buñol, Spain! Trucks arrive, ripe tomatoes are unloaded onto the streets in tons, and the food fight of a lifetime begins. Slip and laugh your way through the saucy chaos as you embrace the excitement of the red tide. This festival celebrates spontaneity and the spirit of life with thousands of new friends from across the globe. At the World’s Biggest Food Fight, being covered head to toe in tomato guts is the ultimate badge of honor.
Inspired by my passion for Spanish culture, I embarked on a mission to create a type-only logo that radiates intense vibrancy and an edgy allure, mirroring the unstoppable energy of La Tomatina. My decision to adopt a brutalist, grunge, and textured approach with captivating typefaces has elevated the almost complete lack of branding for this festival to an exhilarating visual experience with work that honors the resilience of the daring individuals who enter this battle. This eye-catching branding has the potential to enthrall international travelers and adrenaline junkies alike, igniting within them an irresistible urge to purchase a ticket to this extraordinary festival — maybe even an international flight.
