Hyping Up the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Awards

Merging bold colors, zany illustrations, and honorable Hispanic/Latinc celebrities, this advertising campaign celebrates the vibrant culture of the Spanish-speaking world in order to captivate audiences and increase awareness about the prestigious annual HHF Awards.

This eye-catching digital campaign of 10 social media posts promotes the prestigious HHF Awards, an annual showcase of excellence in the arts, cooking, sports, leadership, education, and more, with an emphasis on individuals of Spanish-speaking backgrounds. This project became a fusion of my creativity and passion for the Spanish-speaking world. Inspired by the bright hues and energetic aesthetic of the HHF Instagram page, the colors and patterns used in these designs create a uniqueness that sets them apart from the evergreen posts on the feed. Additionally, each post in this series features illustrious past winners of the HHF Awards who have achieved household name status, making them chosen strategically to captivate an audience that may otherwise be unaware of the remarkable work being done by HHF.

I also crafted a much larger design honoring three inspiring and influential Latina leaders — Gloria Estefan, Selena Gomez, and America Ferrera — that was created from assets for the social media graphics. The illustrious spread was placed on a city bus mockup to show how this campaign could extend from social media with a more profound impact and larger reach to the audience through advertising in the real world.
